Court Administrator's Office

The Montana Legislature created the Court Administrator's Office (CAO) in 1977 to assist the Montana Supreme Court administrate the Montana Judicial Branch. The Office of the Court Administrator  includes the following departments: Budget/Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Court Services, the State Law Library, and Juvenile Probation. Through these departments, the CAO manages the Branch’s budget; implements and maintains IT resources; and provides leadership and direction for all general services of the Branch.
